Kyle and I traveled to North Carolina for Thanksgiving this year. We planned our trip so that we could spend a night with Tiff and John in D.C. After all, we couldn't pass up a chance to see Violet! ;)

Kyle and I met up with my friend Liz Oliphant during our stay. We had
Ben & Jerry's in the basement of the Old Post Office and then took a quick tour of the
Old Post Office Tower. We didn't realize that we were in for such a treat! Apparently, this building is one of the tallest in the city and therefore provides a fantastic view.
Next stop: North Carolina! This year, we not only had the pleasure of seeing Mom, Dad, and Matt who flew out from Utah, we also got to meet the newest member of the extended Stevenson family: Eleonore Anne. Ellie was born on September 30 and she is simply adorable.
Any meal at the Rees' is always exquisite and this year's Thanksgiving dinner was no exception.

Rowan's birthday was on Thanksgiving this year, so evening festivities moved from pie to cake! My Dad's and my birthday were within the week as well, so we decided to celebrate them all at once.
